The duration is approximately 50 minutes, but may vary by about 5 minutes depending on the program.
Basically, please enter the venue before the show starts. If you enter during the show, please cooperate with the staff who will guide you so as not to disturb other visitors.
There are no age restrictions on admission. However, if a child makes noise or interferes with other patrons, we may ask the child to leave the theater. In such cases, tickets will not be refunded.
Photography, video recording, and sound recording are not permitted during the performance. Please contact the office if you wish to take pictures or record the performance. Although photography and recording are not permitted during the performance, there will be time after the show to take commemorative photos with the puppets, which we hope you will take advantage of.
Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the theater. Please eat and drink in the waiting area outside the theater.
Smoking is not permitted in the Awaji Ningyoza; please use the smoking area outside the elevator hall on the 1st floor.
Basically every Wednesday and at the end of the year (December 25 through 31). If Wednesday falls on a national holiday, it will be moved to the following day. Please check “Performance Info” for details.
The theater is equipped with an elevator and there is a wheelchair space in the theater. However, for performances including backstage tours, there are stairs and large steps due to the stage mechanism. If you wish to join the backstage tour and are not comfortable on your feet, please consult with our staff.
Tickets can be purchased at the “Awaji Puppet Theater Reception Window”, “by phone (0799-52-0260)”, “inquiry mail form”, or “Jalan”. In the case of reserved seats for special performances and events, tickets may only be purchased at the “Awaji Puppet Theater Reception Window” and by phone.

There is a store next to the reception desk on the 2nd floor of the museum. A variety of original goods are available.

There are approximately 25 parking spaces (up to 2.1 m high / including 1 handicapped parking space) below the venue. If the parking lot is expected to be full due to a special performance or event, a separate parking lot will be provided.
