In August 1967, Mr. Masahiro Nishikakui of the Production Department of the National Theater Performing Arts Department requested a performance at the National Theater, and he wanted a performance unique to Awaji that Bunraku did not have. Candidates were ``Shizugatake Seven Spears'', ``Tamamo-mae Shoban'', and ``Kiichi Hogen Sanryaku no Maki''. Shizugatake Seven Spears" and "Tamamo-mae Shokuban" were selected. Kokuei Toyoda, Tsunekazu Kobayashi, and Kikuichi Yoshikawa, who had moved from Awaji to Bunraku for a full performance, were also asked to perform. We had a training camp, practiced, and went to the performance. Awaji Puppet Theatre Tashichiro Shimizu, the first president of the company, talked about 'incense place' and was called Yamashiro Shojo of Awaji. The one-man puppeteer's walking around in the audience aisles, the tool return, the main puppeteer Yoshikazu Horikawa, and the foot puppeteer Kikuichi Yoshikawa's Masazaemon walking behind, made the audience groan at the uniqueness of Awaji puppets. In particular, in the battle scene where Masakiyo Kato plays an active part on the mountain stage, Kichiya Toyoda, regardless of the fighting, picks up five decapitated heads (Haribote) and continues to throw them, flying to the audience, etc. This creates an atmosphere in which the stage and the audience become one. Also, in "Tamamo-no-mae fox seven-gake," the chief pianist, Yoshikazu Horikawa, was sweating, so Chiaki Enomoto, a staff member of Nantan-cho, wiped the sweat from his eyes. wiped. The audience burst into laughter, and Horikawa's desperate struggle to hold back his laughter became a legend. The faces of the thirty-six people who finished the performance were full of satisfaction. Mr. and Mrs. Yuki Mishima, Harumi Setouchi (Jakucho Setouchi), and Chiyo Uno visited the dressing room.

After the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the Youth Volunteer Corps headquartered in Turin, Italy, offered to donate $100,000 to the Empress for the affected areas. At the request of Her Majesty the Empress, a performance was held as an art and culture project to encourage the victims of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake with this donation and the Arts and Culture Promotion Fund. Awaji Puppet Theatre performances were held.

As part of the project of the Awaji Prefectural Citizen's Bureau, we performed a memorial service in Minamisanriku Town, which suffered great damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake.

The performances were selected for their unique Awaji performances and performances, and the performances were so popular that they were sold out within 12 days of their release.
